Not all homes make you stop and stare—but this one in Coastlands, Whakatane, certainly does! At Western Bay Bricklayers, we had the privilege of working on this standout project alongside John and the talented team from Landmark Homes Eastern. The result? A home that’s as striking as it is unique.
One of the key features of this build is the nearly 6-metre-high stack-bond brick pillars. That’s right—six metres high! These towering pillars, 11 in total, are a bold architectural statement that perfectly complements the modern design of the house.
