Not every day do we get the chance to work with bricks imported from the other side of the world—but when we did, the result was something truly special. This rustic brick fireplace, built with care and precision, is a perfect blend of craftsmanship and character.
One of the most exciting parts of this project was using the high-quality English bricks, which added a unique touch to the design. Our team put all our skills to work, ensuring the arches and herringbone pattern were laid to perfection. The goal was to achieve that rustic English finish, and we’re proud to say we nailed it!
Of course, no project is without its challenges. In this case, we had the added task of building the fireplace for a retired bricklayer who was keen to keep an eye on every step of the process. But that didn’t phase us—if anything, it pushed us to make sure every brick was perfectly in place!
As Tauranga bricklayers, we love taking on projects that allow us to showcase our expertise and attention to detail. This fireplace turned out to be a stunning feature that’s sure to last for years to come.
